The woman has a dark skin color and is of Surinamese-Hindustani descent. She complained a number of times about discrimination, but could not substantiate this with facts. She also posted messages on her social media page reporting the alleged discrimination. She was in juni 2016 dismissed and the Human Rights Institution bows down in July 2017 also about the case.

The Netherlands Institute for Human Rights is ruling in a case of a Moroccan man living in January 2016 was rejected when applying for a job at in Uden. The company doubted whether he could legally work for them with his residence permit and started an investigation.
