Marcel Hoogstra in Marc de Boer
This time an article about no one, but two right-wing extremists. Not because these gentlemen were not interesting enough for an individual consideration, but because both of their doings and so closely intertwined. We are talking about Marcel Hoogstra and Marc de Boer, in far-right circles sometimes mockingly 'Grijpstra and Vulture’ genoemd.
Ku Klux Klan – FAQ
In februari 1992 asks the then President of the CP'86 Wim Vineyards(1) Membership in the The Invisible Empire of the Ku Klux Klan (FAQ) for his party. Because these racist American organization works only is rejected with individual memberships. Incidentally, at that time one Marcel Hoogstra (1966) in the process of setting up a Dutch KKK-branch.

He could use some support and contacts are made. His friend Marc de Boer (Marcel Vincent, as well 1966) is involved. A short time later, Mr member of the CP'86, Hoogstra same year and De Boer in March 1993. In juni 1993 together they decided to visit the national congress of the party in The Hague. Within the KKK graced De Boer soon titled Great Terror and leader Marcel Hoogstra may itself Great Titan noemen. Regularly gentlemen are signaled on KKK meetings in Germany and Belgium. Also in the Netherlands, one would have kept some cross burnings and meetings. The attendance at these rituals may have never been really big, in right-wing circles, namely regular scornfully laughed about the KKK-puppet. Reportedly would Hoogstra in 1996 from the KKK have withdrawn because his girlfriend not all that saw sitting. The department would also be eliminated thereby. Whether this is actually true is difficult to ascertain because everything is done in secret.
The City Council

Less mysterious is their political career at the CP'86. In 1994 Hoogstra's party leader in municipal elections in Spijkenisse and De Boer in Rijswijk. Both are elected. Spijkenisse The problem arises because the CP'86 whopping wins three seats. Hoogstra's girlfriend Tessa Tielen occupied the second seat. The third is not taken because the only remaining candidate Marc de Boer, who prefers a seat in his hometown Rijswijk. So is there a seat lost while in Rijswijk other potential councilors on the candidate list.
The performance of the new MPs are even not impressive. Valves pulls her mouth did not open and get in May 1995 on already. Hoogstra appears in the beginning of his term of office regularly at meetings. For example, he advocates that mandatory drug addicts will kick off because he is afraid that the more Antilleans on there “drug paradise Netherlands” come off. He also opposes the construction of swap homes for refugees. In november 1995 he made discriminatory remarks about immigrants in a Council meeting on general considerations. Encouraged by Marc de Boer Hoogstra explains that immigrants who for twenty years with their families living in the Netherlands are a threat to the entire Dutch society. Eind 1996 Hoogstra voting against funding for projects to combat racism and discrimination, one would not expect otherwise. He believes that law enforcement must refurbish it but.
De Boer, in turn,, tries in Rijswijk to make a fresh start and the past to shake off. In his opening speech, he explains that with the advent of the CP'86 in Rijswijk council no racial hating extremists, but people with a sincere own people first-politics Swiss model’ have come. He tries to talk a conviction for assault well. Between his election and the installation is because he was sentenced to several months in prison for the beating of a black man in October 1993. De Boer did when young people take part in a nationalist in Arnhem that got out of hand. All kinds of Nazis and skinheads made the city unsafe and walked to sieg-heilen. A black man was attacked by Marc de Boer and his associates. In his speech to the council, he held that, he was asked by the judiciary as an example because he is a member of a right-wing party. Other contributions to the board meetings, that he is very much regularly visits, are a plea against "the bottomless pit of development’ and questions about the abuse by the police of a participant in a prohibited demonstration CP'86 in Rijswijk. De Boer had this demonstration against crime in January 1995 self-organized. In 1996 he accused his fellow councilors of treason to one's own culture and corruption because they agree with the advent of a world-bazaar. A short time later, he complains about the 'abuses’ caused by the intrusive behavior of gay men in a park. The far-right statements by De Boer repeatedly provide consternation in the council and the mayor and other councilors respond therefore strongly reject. After the rupture of the CP'86 both men in February 1997 the pioneers Volksnationalisten Nederland (VNN). Hoogstra would like to sit in the council on behalf of the party and not on behalf of the CP'86. The municipality of Spijkenisse but does not accept this and he continues as an independent councilor. In practice, this makes no difference. He appeared as though rarely on the councils, After this change he is to his departure by the election loss in March 1998 not identified. He would have been too busy with its insulation business. De Boer is from mid 1997 as an independent member on the board and lose his seat in March 1998. Other attempts of the two to be elected fail in the House and in the Provincial Council.
The Parties
In their period in the CP'86 belong Hoogstra and De Boer to the moderate wing of the party. The same is true with their KKK background. Many KKK members find themselves "decent citizens’ fighting for the preservation of values. Hoogstra and De Boer reject the radical National Socialism of the circle around Martijn Freling whatsoever and will eventually lead this division to a split of the party.
In a letter to the party newspaper of the CP'86, the Revolutionary Nationalist, Marcel Hoogstra explains why it is so important to the party: "The CP'86 an ideology that provides a 'glorious future for people and fatherland". The party fights the despicable multicultural society, that 'inevitable miscegenation and other evils entails, which ultimately leads to the genocide of our people '. Hoogstra and De Boer are adherents of nationalism, an ideology that distinguishes between populations based on their cultural characteristics such as language, religie, customs and habits. People's Nationalist groups want the Dutch language (Nederland, Flanders and an alleged piece of Flanders in France) therefore coexist in one state. Wallonia falls out here because it belongs to a different culture.
It will be clear that one does not see down to presence of migrants from a country with a Muslim culture in this Volksstaat. In May 1995 Messrs visit than a contact day of popular nationalist pressure group Outpost. On the Flemish nationalist Yzerbedevaart in 1996 they are a CP'86 delegation attended a European night of camaraderie Outpost. In 1995 en 1996 There is frequent talk of a merger between the CD and the CP'86. Hoogstra and De Boer are warm supporters of this cooperation. The party congress of the CP'86 this points in May 1996 However definitively, but, Marc de Boer still secretary of the party. Several months later, the rumble between the Nazi and nationalist wings of the nation CP'86 comes to a climax. Hoogstra and De Boer expel Martijn Freling and Stewart Mordaunt and try to take over the lot. By procedural errors it fails and the moderates are put in their turn from the party. The CP'86 radicalizes quickly and from that moment the nation nationalist wing set up a new party on the aptly named Volksnationalisten Nederland (VNN). Marc de Boer is secretary of the executive committee and Marcel Hoogstra treasurer and editor of the party newspaper. In fact, the men make the service from within the party. President Wim Beaux and the other board members have little to stop the duo. Visits on behalf of their new party they in June 1997 de state convention van de NPD in Duitsland. Besides these visits, and some pickets the party but little success. In elections are won no seats and actions such as the intrusion of a tent camp for asylum seekers in Dwingeloo provide a radical racist image. This party calls only resistance and can count on little support from the population.
In 1998 his Hoogstra and De Boer, volgens eigen zeggen, initiators of a number of exploratory discussions between right-wing extremists of all sorts. Both CD'ers, VNN'ers, Posters for non-party-aligned figures along with it do. The goal is to come in the longer term, to a far-right party with a broader base. Much patience Hoogstra and De Boer not. Much to the irritation especially Outpost pull them all the way to the discussions themselves and focus early July National Party Netherlands (NPN) op, short time later renamed Nieuwe Nationale Partij (NNP). There was in the seventies, namely already a National Party Netherlands been, as a kind of precursor of the Centrumpartij. The Elections Act prohibits than others party name used again later in elections.
Take the NNP Hoogstra and De Boer no official functions in. Possibly, their fear of being seen as a continuation of the banned CP'86 a role. De Boer was the last secretary of the CP'86 and both men have had management positions in the obvious CP'86-continuation VNN. If justice NNP also sees as a continuation one risked heavy fines and a party ban.
Behind the scenes pulling Hoogstra and De Boer, however almost all strings. This is particularly evident at a press conference in October NNP. Treasurer John van der Steen and secretary Gerard de Wit constantly by the pair prompted in. Furthermore Hoogstra again editor of the party newspaper. In maart 1999 NNP will participate in her first election; that the city council in Breda. However, it is unlikely that one achieves a seat and it is anyway unlikely that this new party will be a success. Hoogstra and De Boer have been predisposed to divide than to hold a newly founded party.
Anti-Antifa Beveiliging
In addition to these party activities Hoogstra and De Boer working with security and the so-called "anti-antifa"; keeping an eye on anti-fascists and leftist opponents. So they end 1993 involved in the then newly founded Nationalist Security (NVD). This service protects actions and meetings CP'86 and Outpost. So it is hoped that these activities can proceed undisturbed. NVD monitors the locations and trying to get aware of the plans of the police and anti-fascists.

Hoogstra, the members of the congress in May CP'86 1995 so thoroughly protected that many party members can barely reach the location. The emergence therefore is very disappointing. This is also caused by the exclusion of the radical neo-Nazis around Martijn Freling. This group is denied for wearing uniforms and forbidden symbols; one of the events of the CP'86 end the schism 1996 ushers.
Especially Marc de Boer is very active with anti-antifa activities. In 1994 For example, he makes pictures of possible anti-fascists on the Yzerbedevaart Diksmuide. Begin 1995 he observes with Rende van der Kamp, foreman of Research, Documentation and Information Network (ODIN), antifascists who demonstrate against the CP'86. The gentlemen are hereby arrested. This now defunct ODIN has anti-antifa research main objective. Makes on several other occasions, De Boer photos of his opponents. Recently, he is hereby clap as he put the participants in an anti-Voorpost demonstration in Delft on the photo.
If Hoogstra and De Boer graduate to VNN they also take this party security on their behalf. In juli 1995 make Hoogstra and De Boer this security activities of their profession. They put the security Rijnmond Risk Management (RRB) op. This company acts in safety- and communications and provides paid protection of persons and events. They also encourages listening devices. Both men missed the (mandatory) permits for this company. Because of their criminal records, they will never get it. Hoogstra has already been convicted of theft and 1992 verbalized for illegal arms possession. In 1996 he is arrested at a banned demonstration by a tear gas canister. Marc de Boer, as previously reported, sentenced for racist abuse. Begin 1998 Messrs find a solution for. RRB is a Partnership firm (VOF) and changed its objective in a way that one is no longer a license. The company goal 'personal security’ is converted to "advise on personal security ', Hoogstra and De Boer steps and only members are the Farmer's wife Conny de Boer Kleijn and Hoogstra's insulation business. Whether this is also the activities ceased for which they need a permit is unclear.
After the final death of ODIN arise in 1998 some new anti-antifa clubs. The 'Never Initiative 1984’ (IN ’84) acts as a sort of umbrella. The tracks for the driving force behind the lead IN '84 to ex-husband Tim ODIN Mudde, action now leader at Outpost.
One of the groups involved in the IN '84 connected calls himself 'Workgroup Stay Vigilant’ (WBW). It is accessible via the mailbox of Marcel Hoogstra. On behalf of the WBW someone writes under the pseudonym Americo in 1998 Articles from the left and anti-fascists in the party magazine of the VNN, and later as the party passed into the NNP in their magazine 'Barricade'. Americo calls for "all information about “anti” fascist and (s)leftist actions, activists and all other socialist and anarchist subversion. Newspapers articles, photo's, leftist actions etc.’ to send the mailbox Hoogstra. Soon it will be "a very comprehensive book of radical antifa’ go spend. It takes little effort to recognize the activities of Hoogstra and De Boer here.
1. W.J. Vineyards (1928) is of the 1990 tot 1994 Chairman of the CP'86. On the day that this party is banned, 18 november 1998, he comes to death.
