In 1971 The NCE was founded as another extreme-right splinter. The party, however, began to differentiate after JOOP GLIMMERVEEN took the lead in. Which first brought the issue of migration and migrants forward and that brought him some electoral success. He also made visible by the party on the streets to confront with political opponents and the police. Under his leadership, the party radicalized quickly to an openly neo-Nazi party.
