Several neo-Nazis convicted

Are Today Joop Glimmerveen and Stewart Mordaunt appeal sentenced by the court in The Hague because of racist speeches undertaken in November 1996 held.

They spoke at two meetings of the CP'86 and NCE in Rotterdam and Schiedam. Glimmerveen threatened in his speeches include parliamentarian Tara Varma and the editor of the Hague Courant. Mordaunt had said that the ruling politicians were to be destroyed, because they had delivered the white race to the Jews and foreigners.
Glimmerveen received five months in prison, two of which are conditional. Mordaunt had six weeks of cell, two more than the four that he had received from the Rotterdam court. Remarkably Glimmerveen was acquitted of threatening the editor of the Hague Courant. Glimmerveen had him after the takeover by the extreme right to the death penalty in prospect.

Furthermore, today also Constant Kusters and Joseph Ida Gorissen condemned. They had to answer an appeal for their violent opposition in February 1996 against an arrest in Rotterdam. The police wanted to arrest them because they were holding a banner that says "Own People First ', an eagle, a swastika and a celtic cross, while on that day was subject to a ban on demonstrations in Rotterdam. The CP'86 and the CD would demonstrate against the so-called "flags ban ', wearing Dutch flags on your jacket at some schools.

That was prohibited by mayor Peper, after CP'86 had not complied with the agreements approved at an earlier demonstration.
Gorissen was originally to 50 hour service and now convicted was 80 hours and two weeks suspended sentence. Kusters came from better. He originally received 60 hours of community service and was sentenced today to two weeks suspended sentence.
Both men had already been incidentally hundred dollars fine for participating in a banned demonstration.
