That the unrest surrounding the arrival of large groups of refugees to the Netherlands grist to the mill of existing right-wing extremist organizations, it mildly. Of neo-Nazis to the PVV come right extremists in action. They join protests, they may be organizing activities and interfere with local initiatives of angry residents. But above all, they try this turmoil within their own channeling political street, seeking success, support and new recruits. But that's not all. In addition to existing extreme right-wing organizations, also creates new groups, whose "Protesters Against Municipalities' (DTG) currently one of the most active is.
Where does come from DTG?
In september 2015 The municipality of Enschede announced that an asylum center (AZC) for 600 people will be built in an industrial area on the eastern side of the city. In the nearby district Dolphia then creates unrest spoke on this decision and there are actions . A consultation evening proceeds restless, there are empty houses are daubed with slogans, banners appear in the streets with texts against refugees and against the municipal, an alderman threatened with death and decapitation are deposited at the site where the AZC to come. In late October, the group created from the district Dolphia Against City ' (DTG) to give a face to the neighborhood resistance.

Op 31 October a demonstration organized by 'AZC Alert Enschede'. There are about 400 people make this protest against the AZC plans. The demonstrators are addressed by PVV Staten Edgar Mulder, MP Louis Bontes, Councillor Paul Meijer Forza! Haarlemmermeer and Kim Jong DTG. DTG was next to the speaker also well represented in this demonstration and recognizable shirts with the acronym DTG and a logo of a pitbull. However, there appear not only residents of Dolphia to have come on the road. There are prior to the demonstration rumors spread that left-wing counter-demonstrators, partly from Germany, will also come to town. Even though there appears to be correct anything on the day of, rumor has it the necessary impact. Groups who for various reasons want to do which is to go on the fist come up with counter-demonstrators also on the demonstration off. It partly comes to neo-Nazis and hooligans football club FC Twente. Together like DTG, hooligans and neo-Nazis during the demonstration go into the city center to find opponents or else, for lack of opponents, to raise the mayor's house. That is prevented by use of the Mobile Unit and leads to a number of riots with the police in which neo-Nazis, hooligans and DTG supporters shoulder to shoulder in front are found. Eventually, six demonstrators are arrested for bringing the Hitler salute, insult and abuse.

It is unclear whether there are laid during that demonstration contacts between DTG and groups and individuals from outside Enschede. But it is a fact that short time deflection after this demonstration DTG wings, in ambition, in range, in size and ideology. The first step is put is also to be beyond their wards and outside Enschede significant. To that end, the group renamed from 'Dolphia Against City "to" Protesters Against Municipalities', with the same abbreviation "DTG" and the same banners and T-shirts. This ambition to expand was also put to the second step and the range increases. DTG supporters visit in November 2015 protests against refugees, Muslims and AZCs in Hengelo, Oude Pekela, cuijk, Duisburg (Duitsland), Apeldoorn and Amsterdam. Then the third step followed by itself, For the supporters of DTG quickly came not just from Dolphia or Enschede, but from all parts of eastern Netherlands. That attracting new supporters also other political ideas brought with them turned out to be a fourth step. Because with this new trailer was next to Enschede and hooligans also brought neo-Nazis.
Who forms DTG?
For an overview, we will first discuss here are the two groups that are active in DTG, Dolphia the original group and the neo-affiliated TUEs.
The organizational core of DTG from the beginning until now formed by Dolphia residents Benno Wilmink, Raphael Marchese and service fiancee Kim de Jong. Wilmink where does the press spokesperson, Wilmink and De Jong speeches hold demonstrations and Marchese practical organization takes in actions alone. In addition, a group of other Enschede from the outset active in all supported by DTG demonstrations.

In the first group which joins from outside the district Dolphia, report immediately a number of individuals with an extensive c.v. in neo-Nazi circles. To begin closing Martijn Oelen Hengelo ("Martijn Hengelo ') themselves with this core group. Oelen now also performs regularly speaks to the press on behalf of DTG. Five years ago Oelen however, appears for the first time in politics. He fills his Hyves profile with swastika flags, the Horst Wessel song and call for participation in German Nazi demonstrations. Furthermore he is member NCE and also runs in that period along with several demonstrations of the party, among other in Enschede. This ambition is rewarded and Oelen from September 2011 half years board member of the German Youth in Netherlands (IJ), the youth organization of the NCE. He stays until mid 2013 active at NCE.
Another activist Hengelo with tracks in the neo-Nazi scene, which appears already in those early days at DTG is Maikel Groothuis. He was also in the same period as Oelen active in the NCE and walked along with several Oelen NVU demonstrations off. He also visited with Oelen 2012 a German war cemetery where buried German and Dutch SS.

A third DTG activist with roots in the NCE Arie Huisman from Ede. In 2010 Huisman gets involved in the NCE and visits from that moment also regular meetings and demonstrations of that party. He also visits a number of neo-Nazi demonstrations in Germany. in any case, to remain Arie Huisman 2013 for active party. But also in 2014 en 2015 He provides emphatic evidence of involvement in the Dutch neo-Nazi scene. For example, he visited at that time regularly living room pub affiliated to the NCE 'The Nationalist' Ravenstein. Immediately after Liberation 2015 (less than a year ago so) He traveled with a group of neo-Nazis a German war cemetery in Ysselsteyn to lay a wreath on graves of the Second World War killed German soldiers and SS.
A fourth activist DTG from this early period Wesley Hols from Apeldoorn. Hols gets into 2011 involved in the NCE, but was starting 2006 interested in neo-Nazi rock music. As Martijn Oelen he is a board member of the NCE-youth organization, the GJN and remains that to this day. Vanaf 2012 He has been present at almost all NCE actions and meetings. He also regularly visits neo-Nazi demonstrations in Germany. In 2015 he consulted with other neo-Nazis wreaths at the grave of 'Black Widow' Rost of Tonningen and with Arie Huisman and others, he does the same at the German war cemetery in Ysselsteyn.

To complete the picture of the DTG-core group should be mentioned one DTG activist, however neither is from Dolphia, nor a neo-Nazi. It involves Adé Jansen from Nijmegen. Jansen is a bit odd man out in this context. For he comes from the Fortuyn movement. Jansen was LPF candidate at the elections in 2002 and later popped up at the far-right cleavage of the Fortuyn movement, New Right. So he, as said, no background in neo-Nazism. Moreover Jansen claims he is employed or formerly employed by the Royal and Diplomatic Protection (DKDB). A man you would not immediately expect in an action group with such extreme profile. Still, Jansen already been involved from an early stage DTG and was among other things to the DTG Group very active at a demonstration of Pegida in Amsterdam.

What does DTG?
Not only from the backgrounds of the core members of DTG shows their affiliation with neo-Nazis, Also their activities show a preference for radical groups. Apart from participation in the AZC Alert demonstration in Enschede and private demonstration 13 February at Enschede, DTG ran a number of actions from other organizations off in Netherlands.

In december 2015 DTG was with a delegation present at a protest in Oude Pekela. The protest was organized by the Companionship North Netherlands (KNNL). This group was until recently operated under the name Division North Country International Blood & Honour network and remains an outspoken neo-Nazi organization. Kim Jong held here on behalf of DTG speech.
In January 2016 DTG joined a protest in Cuijk which was organized by the - already mentioned - neo-Nazi living pub 'Nationalist'. A striking detail is that of the twenty demonstrators present, were thirteen of DTG. Benno Wilmink of DTG gave a speech here.
A week later DTG activists joined in Apeldoorn at a demonstration of the extreme right-wing activist group Pegida. Again Kim Jong speaks to protesters. Benno Wilmink state to the press.
And finally popped a group of very militant DTG activists at a Pegida demonstration in Amsterdam in February 2016.
What is the risk of Municipalities Against Protesters?
DTG appears as a fairly neutral group angry, anxious or frightened citizens who want their wives and children safety and admittedly against AZCs in their environment, but believe that the Netherlands should be open to 'genuine refugees'. Behind that claptrap, however, is a very different profile hidden.

during demonstrations (The principal activity of the Group) shows the DTG supporters consist largely of testosterone bombs that can be held with difficulty by the stewards in harness. This trailer is explosive and intimidating presence at demonstrations, while frantically looking for a confrontation with police and political opponents. The same picture emerges from reports of the DTG supporters on their facebook page. That is called extensively on the use of all forms of violence.
Only because of the hooligan-like image may already be apparent that DTG is much more extreme than a neat action group, as the DTG spokespersons themselves like (and with some success) present. But besides this hooligan character also reflects the ideological orientation of the group in no way with their attempt to neatly. This is firstly indicated by the presence of people with extensive - recent – histories in the neo-Nazi circuit within the core group of DTG. And that image is, second, strengthened by explicitly neo-Nazi and extreme right-wing organizations that seeks cooperation with demonstrations. The group turns out there loves radical intentions after they want to let the general public seem.
A case of wolf in sheep's clothing so.
