Breda - New National Party

De Nieuwe Nationale Partij (NNP) occurs only in municipal elections in Breda note. The party is in July 1998 founded by the People's Nationalists Netherlands (VNN), CD'ers apostate and non-party-aligned right-wing extremists. On behalf of the VNN were especially Marcel Hoogstra and Marc de Boer involved in setting. Chairman is former board member Egbert CP'86 Peree (1924), Secretary VNN former board member Gerard de Wit and treasurer is appointed the CD parliamentarian John van der Steen.

In collaboration with the National Committee Support Group (NFO) the party the Breda department proposes a real election together. Broadly, it is an extremely conservative program. They want more police, no tolerance policy for drugs, stop and search for weapons, identification requirement, ban on assembly, camera surveillance of entertainment centers and maintaining the Dutch culture and identity. Also wants the NNP no integration of cultures / communities but, only to a very limited extent, assimilation of the individual.

De candidates
The candidates of this new batch includes two women and seven men. Only four of them actually live in the city of Breda. Of the remaining five, two live in Den Bosch, one in Zwijndrecht (South Holland), one in Beek en Donk (above Eindhoven) and even a candidate from Goes (Zealand) wants in the Breda council. Should the NNP unexpected win multiple seats, which is very unlikely, it will need to be moved. After all councilors must live in the municipality in which they serve. Extreme right-wing councilors, however, in the past regularly under this rule released by subscriptions to sympathizers in the appropriate place. All candidates have a CD-past and they are among the 41 en 67 years old. The average age of about 53 Remarkably old for a new party.

The leader in Breda is a former councilor Francis (French) Heeren (born 21 January 1948). Lord since 1986 a member of the CD. Hij wordt in 1991 the leader in the regional elections in North Brabant. He is not chosen, but knows 1994 or to get into the city council. The CD achieves Breda three seats (7,3% van de stemmen). Incidentally, the other two seats are lost, because not to take a seat on the other six candidates. Their council compensation 56.000 guilders per year by the Municipal&W made available to the Breda Platform Against Discrimination. Striking detail is that the numbers two and three on the list an aunt and uncle of French Lord who, after him ten years to have seen, at his request on the list stand his.
Hedy d'Ancona brought in spring 1994 visit Breda and called the album 'mafioos'. This would reportedly have been the reason that two candidates for the board have retreated. The remark d'Ancona seems somewhat exaggerated, but is placed in a fun context by French Lord himself. In november 1995 He is sentenced to community work sixty hours due support fraud. He had concealed the Social Services that he spent time in a year 12.000 guilder had earned at a security.
In 1996 Lord trying to get back in the council elections held for a municipal reorganization. However, the CD loses all its seats and the Lord leaves the council. In 1998 he gets along with the remains of the Brabant CD circle over to the NNP. He is present at the first party congress in Vught and now does so again an attempt on behalf of the party to get on the board.

Francis (French) Heeren

Other interesting candidates on the ninth and final spot Martha Johanna Alma (Mattie) van der Steen-belt (1949) and two on her husband John (John) van der Steen (1932) from Den Bosch. John van der Steen's definitely from 1991 active in the CD. The couple is in 1994 elected to the City Council and Bossche regularly on CD actions along. At mid-term elections in November 1995 However, they lose their seats again. John van der Steen is also from the beginning 1995 member of the Provincial Council in North Brabant. Here he makes statements like: "The CD is not misogynistic, We do like the females’ and voted against the proposal because he has no need for a multi-ethnic society. He is a long time the president of the motorcycle club from the CD and also a member of the executive committee of the party. After Vught a resistance monument was daubed with swastikas, he sends a letter to B&W where he autonomists and left accuses of these graffiti. He has now gone to the CD and in July 1998 national treasurer of the NNP. Mattie van der Steen Riemens fired 1997 in a letter to the base sheet of the CD from the multicultural society. There sticking quite a few negative aspects "that multicultural’ According to Mrs Van der Steen, for example: 'Polygamy, ritual slaughter, carrying of arms, circumcision of girls, deviant ethics, etc.’.

John (John) van der Steen

The third candidate on the NNP-list Johan P.M.M. van de Sande (1957) Breda. He put in elections 1991 already a support for the signature and CP'86 1998 for the CD.

At four we find Willy In. Stone (1947) from Prinsenbeek (municipality of Breda). He also put his signature on CD or in lists and 1994 en 1995 when he still lived in Flushing.

Drs. L.P. Granacher (1949) Breda is the fifth candidate. In 1996 Granacher tried before in the Breda council to be elected, and then stood in third place on the CD list.

Six state John (His) Kweens (1955) from Beek en Donk. He's definitely from 1992 the CD and was previously involved with the local political party 'Left'. In 1995 he was a candidate in Den Bosch and a year later party leader in his own church Laarbeek. Kweens's been a while employee of the Brabant Provincial Group of the CD and editor of the base sheet in Brabant. Last year he performed unsuccessfully CD list in Helmond.

My Lady Heiny Under the Linden (1937) Goes out was also a candidate for the CD in the States Elections in Zeeland 1995. Now she stands in seventh place.

On the next-to-last place overnight, we find the local NNP-chairman of the district Dordrecht L.E.B. (Bert) Heidekamp (1938) Zwijndrecht. Hij is in 1995 active for the CD and candidate in the council elections in South Holland. In 1996 he collapsed 5,- on the bank account of Kafka in understanding our newsletter. Apparently he is interested in the ins and outs of his anti-fascist opponents. Last year Heidekamp was the leader of the VNN in Zwijndrecht and candidate in Rotterdam. He is not chosen. Remarkably, he also put his signature on the CD list in South Holland has put. The NNP doing out like all kinds CD'ers to them defected and put itself against Janmaat and consorts, but there is obviously still worked in practice.

From Handtekeningzetters
The supporters of the candidates of the NNP in Breda are largely unknown. Noteworthy is the supporting signature of former NVU'er AD. Christchurch from Polderstraat. Also two of his roommates now signs for the new party. Apparently this has been around a signature recruiter of the NNP, For eight handtekeningzetters from the street near the station. A number of them explains that a man in a white car has paid them forty guilders for their signature. The car drove a number of times with handtekeningzetters back and forth to the city office. Among them was a woman of considerable in the eighties. Some of these people absolutely do not explain to know what they have signed now. Other handtekeningzetters shine at the address of the Social Affairs / Labour market / Welfare to attend. This suggests that the NNP'ers also stood at the Social Services to buy signatures. In any case, two of the NNP-steuners are homeless. At least another three people have put their signatures while they did not know what kind of party they went to sea. They feel whatsoever 'cheated’ and 'cheated'. A woman explains: "A man came here at the door, with an Antillean girl. Who said that there used to be a multicultural party that did nothing for us. They were going to help us if we put our signature.’

These recruitment practices are not punishable, although an elected councilor in the installation or declare that he or she has no one bribed to get on the board. Another indication for recruiting is the virtual absence of known right-wing extremists on the list, even though they sometimes live in Breda.
