Vanaf 1 January 1999 Netherlands is another new extreme right initiative 'richer'. The Independent National Press Office (ONP) opens a home page with posts “for anyone who wants to follow developments in the nationalist movement in the Netherlands”.
ONP sees itself as a “independently of motion, organization or party operating resource”. That it falls short of independence shown by the use of the mailbox Voorpost foreman Tim Mudde. The struggle for independence of the far-right movement sounds strange when ONP little further sets itself the goal “through independent reporting to contribute to the healthy growth of the national movement in the Netherlands in the broadest sense of the word.”
Besides the homepage ONP provides an electronic mailing list of messages about the current developments in the extreme right-wing circles in the Netherlands. Some anti-fascist organizations who sign up as a subscriber of this mailing were after a short time the list thrown again. ONP is clearly meant only for like-minded.
On its website, the ONP links were made to the homepages of some of these like-minded. Thus, there are links to three far-right organizations:
the Dutch Student (NLSV)
the Ancient Warriors Legion (OSL)
and Outpost Netherlands
and four parties:

Nederlands Blok
Netherlands Mobile
and the New National Party (NNP).
The Flemish sister organization of the ONP, the “Flemish National Network” is not forgotten.
In addition, the ONP it brings “National bladenoverzicht” which is advertised:

Furthermore, the ONP provides a calendar where you can look up what right-wing meetings and activities are planned. These are activities of all above mentioned clubs, but actually mainly for Post and its subsidiary organizations NLSV and SOS. The mailing list of ONP primarily reflects Voorpost messages. In addition, they regularly put newspapers- and radio messages that go about the multi-cultural society, or activities of the extreme right. One tries herein to use a neutral tone without swearing or racist phraseology. In June, one gives a press release of Alfred Vierling by submitting a complaint against the Dutch government for the war in Kosovo. Quad veteran has lately become active again for Outpost.
Comes the news, to sum up, especially from the Outpost corner. The only really odd duck in the bite is actually the OSL. ONP has a link to the organization and will report when the OSL sheet Stavast suits. Despite the fact that the OSL regularly similar subjects and opinions as broaches Mudde and associates and for years over and over again contacts and dual memberships, the OSL has any overt contact with the extreme right always shunned. Officially find the OSL namenlijk that handle both the extreme left and extreme right despicable ideologies. The OSL however only brought her hate communists in practice and could thereby regularly consent and support of the extreme right count. Or openly professed love of ONP for the activities of the OSL in the near future will lead to a rapprochement between the two groups is still questionable, but would not be surprised.
The emergence of ONP fits more nicely into the plan Outpost for years has devised. The political situation is allerbelabberdst for the extreme right in the Netherlands and for Posters have quite run brainstorm how to turn the tide. It blindly join ultimately not much delivered to various elections. The right-wing extremists should be trained and the public have to accept extreme right. The ONP must serve both as a source of information for the far-right supporters and as seemingly independent “news agency” affect the general public and the bourgeois press.
