How does a Dutch member of parliament on the idea of "urban commandos" in the Dutch cities to let go in order to maintain order? And what does that actually the ideas of Raymond de Roon, the creator of this plan? And now imagine that he would become Minister of Justice, what does that mean for our society? A look at the history of Raymond de Roon leaves little room for doubt about the context in which we must look at those plans.
In the seventies, the bourgeoisie in the Netherlands in turmoil. They see their morality provoked by the rise of left-wing activist groups and initiatives. Provo and the Gnomes, de VPRO en Dolle Mina, crackers and student organizations. From all kinds of nooks and crannies trusted values are attacked. In extreme right circles one tries to find a suitable answer to these threats to the social order. the weekly “Free Press” was one of the platforms for their dissatisfaction.
While the Free Press was a marginal leaf, but those who were behind these were the least. For they took care of the necessary high-profile incidents in that period. Om het went as here?
Free Press was published by the New Right Party (PNR), an extreme right game in which figures were active as Joop Baank, Paul van Goch and Veronica founder Max Lewin. Lewin was from the fifties actively right to extreme right-wing initiatives. The character of this group can best be sketching out an affair 1975. In that year the BVD Bleeds (forerunner of today AIVD) off the phone Max Lewin and so is a plan to the light to make a bomb in the Amsterdam metro. That subway is still built at that time. That would seriously discredit these leftists. Initially, the scheme succeeds, because after the early decommissioning of the bomb in the media and local government directly toward the subway demonstrators pointed. The BVD is able to intervene in time and informed the police and pick up the real culprits. Joop Baank get a few months in prison.

The duo adds: “We as youth, that keeping pointless demonstrations and organizing provocations by extremist youth groups to be curbed. We as young people demand, that government subversion of institutions such as the ASVA, Socialist Youth, red Youth, VPRO etc.. identifies as threats to Dutch society and the rule of law, as accepted by the vast majority of the Dutch population and supported and that the government will oppose such activities by any means and they squelch.” Charles Evers and Raymond de Roon call other young people to sign up for a National Youth Organization.
Very successful was not this call. Raymond de Roon closes later than yourself to a similar initiative, the National Security Brigade (NVB). This club is described as “thugs” and calls in summer 1971 through advertisements Free Press for a far-right vigilante “Against disorganization and sedition”.
“Ex professional soldier, erosion of our national resilience over tired, seeks contact with other former professional soldiers, former commandos and marines, former members of the Royal Military Police, former police officers, Members and former members of the National Reserve and other law-abiding citizens of Dutch nationality.” Those interested can send a letter to the address of The Free Press. In a pamphlet NVB also calls “Young men 16 years and older” sign up.

From the eighties he continues to ascend and 2003 he even Advocate General at the Amsterdam Court.
After he was chosen for the PVV in parliament, He has the NVB-old plan of a law-abiding vigilante weather is stable and that in order to town commands. Two Pupils in open letter counter extremism
Two Dutch high school students want to awaken a part of the silent majority in our country and especially mobilize their peers against what they call in an open letter to The Free Press: the threat, stalking us with certain side.
Charles Louis Evers from Oegstgeest and Raymond de Roon from Amsterdam to write the following:
“We as young people have all constructive forces in our country, which does not exclude politics, point out the error of their attitude. it is completely wrong if one thinks, that the extremist threat now nothing more to be done. We therefore appeal to the patriotic young people to join hands and jointly to erect a dam against the destructive politics of left-wing extremists.
We as young people have serious objections to the bitch offensive attitude, which government, Police and Justice take compared subversive activities. We especially pay attention, die pers, radio and television in disproportionate attention to such activities, when given to healthy and constructive activities not too little or even attention.
We think if young people too, that the Dutch government should act much more powerful as friendly powers find themselves in difficulty. We require, that there is an end to communist and foreign infiltrations into our country, to disturbances, destruction and criminality, on street terror and cracking buildings and especially the constant harassment by extremist groups and individuals, ohm. our high schools and universities. We are of the opinion, that if no halt to this development, the silent majority there to be forced to temporarily disable the parliamentary democratic system to get a powerful government by extra-parliamentary means.
We as young people are convinced, that there are persons in our country, which could carry such a rule, and in this regard we call on consent, a statement by the Greek Minister Pattakos: “There are unknown colonels in all countries, as we were that myself for the 21th of April 1967”

We as young people make an urgent appeal to our peers to come to the creation of a National Youth Organization in defense of the values of our society and to combat extremist excesses, that threaten our country. We therefore generate any constructive young Dutch people to join us and send expressions of adhesion to the editors of this magazine or one of the addresses below.

President National Security Brigade: Dutch people should finally wake up.

Hague, 8 nov.- At the same moment that take place in the prison in Groningen dramatic scenes and life in danger of hostages and detainees, in utter despair in a desperate way to improve their situation trying to enforce, says Mr. Piet van der Linden, comfortably seated in his living room nicely fitted to the Anna Paulownastraat, still ignorant of events elsewhere, cheerful: “Jail? Ah sir, for many is no longer a staff more. It is there blown recreation one behind the other. They can watch TV or a band is evening rented or magic spikelet. Many a prisoner rather sit there than at home in a small room with another count whining children around. If the food and bowel movement but its good they have long been satisfied. That may explain why many people fall back into crime where the punishment is. They want to go back there”.

Van der Linden also saw the need for this long because in the army with his acts of sabotage and subversive publications he has no confidence.
