On a web page Rood Wit Blauw Gemaskerd a photo of nine masked people with Dutch flags is placed. The explanation is there: “Ook in Veenendaal activists participate in the #MaskedProtest! Who follows?“.

The organization of a dance party with refugees Veenendaal concludes the event 17 March in charges off after threats against her. They are affected by the hatred that emanates from the threats and go find a new date. It involves insults and threats on social media. The court in Utrecht considers that a rural bank the right wing extremist Patrick de Bruin from Veenendaal may refuse as intermediary in the sale of financial products such as mortgages. They reject him because of his extreme right-wing activities at clubs like Voorpost in the NVU. In 2011 De Bruin had here a case before the Equal Treatment Commission (Now Board for the Protection of Human Rights) won over, but the court disagreed and suggests here that the bank can refuse him because their reputation could be harmed.

Patrick de Bruin is a prominent right-wing extremist from Veenendaal. He gets the magistrate in Arnhem a community service and a suspended prison sentence for an illegal cannabis farm in 2011. Patrick de Bruin is active during this time with the NVU en Voorpost and the two organizations act against regular drug use. He financed several extreme right-wing activities such as concerts. It is unclear whether he did so with the money from drug trafficking.

A twenty-year man out Veenendaal insulted in December 2010 in his hometown an official with the cry: “I go on PVV stemmen, dirty foreigner. You have to leave the country”. Yet he is acquitted today by the court Utrecht.

The Equal Treatment Commission jurisdiction in two similar cases by the right-wing extremist Veenendaal Patrick de Bruin brought against two FNV unions. They refuse him membership because of his political activism in the NVU en Voorpost is incompatible with the FNV membership. Due to differences in detail between the two cases, the statements are contrary. In one case FNV Independents made unlawful discrimination on political grounds.
