A research program on television shows this evening that there is a discriminatory door policy at some bars in Breda, Leiden en Den Haag. Young people with dark or toned skin color often do not enter, while their white peers are admitted without problems. The owner of a cafe in Den Haag says he basically lets everyone in. But his experience shows “that you often have misery with these kind of guests. They bother girls”. At pubs in Den Haag young people with a dark skin color are refused. One pub in The Hague also refuses Moroccan-Dutch boys. In Breda is the, according to the broadcast, the worst. The dark boys are not allowed in any of the five pubs and clubs tested and the Moroccan boys are not allowed there in three bars. The white boys come in everywhere.
