In september 2010 Venray's Committee against AZC founded. The action group is directed against the arrival of a refugee center in the town of Venray. Not everything is what it seems. The committee founders use a hidden agenda. They are much more extreme than they appear.

The planned arrival of an asylum center (AZC) Venray evokes some of the locals resistance. This has resulted in the creation of an action group has distributed leaflets critical in September, including at a high school.
this action group, calling itself 'Committee Venray against AZC’ calls, also tries to influence public opinion. Through their website, folder- in posteracties, by insertion during information evenings and in conversations with local politicians, the committee is trying to bring its arguments as well as possible for the light. Their arguments range from the idea that in the place where the AZC is scheduled to rise more social housing to the desire “grow up in an original Dutch environment.”
Extreme right-wing activists

The driving forces have learned the art of campaigning piece by piece behind this committee with Nazi and extreme right-wing activist groups. Tom van den Hoek (spokesman), Willem van Dijk and Florens van der Kooi are all involved in the committee. They write and distribute leaflets, maintain the website and speak. They are also all active on demonstrations and meetings of the Dutch Nazi party People's Union (NVU) and the rightwing extremist group Post.

The founder and spokesman of the committee, Tom van den Hoek (1985), is a native of Venray which since 2004 politically active. Van den Hoek began his political career in the Dutch United Aryan Brotherhood (VNAB). this club, which was based in Ravenstein, dedicated himself “for a white Dutch society”. Although several members of the VNAB have this organization has focused largely on a violent political past with distributing leaflets. After that, the club quickly went up in the Nazi Dutch People's Union (NVU). Tom van den Hoek will get a job as secretary of the youth organization of the party, German Youth in Netherlands (IJ). Van den Hoek has since been in dozens of Nazi rallies and demonstrations in the Netherlands, Been Germany and Belgium.

An illustrative example is a memorial in 2007 in Flanders Lommel. The organization Blood&Honour brought here at a cemetery 150 people gathered to commemorate the SS died honorably. “Long live the Great German Reich of the future. Leve het nationaal-socialisme. Sieg Heil!” exclaimed one of the speakers Tom van den Hoek and to the other attendees.
Tom van den Hoek is for three years accompanied by Willem van Dijk (1986) from Deurne. Van Dijk is involved in the National Socialist Action (NSA) and arranged to see demonstrations of the NCE. Because of his qualities as a Thai boxer he is called by his friends Kung Fu Panda.

A third well-known right-wing extremist within the committee AZC No is the far-right veteran Florens van der Kooi (1978). The Dutchman has been active for almost ten years in various extreme right-wing movements. As a council member for the New National Party (NNP), speaker at training sessions of the NCE, member of an extreme right-wing radio station and action leader Voorpost he has extensive political experience. He currently focuses his political power especially in his role as leader of national action Outpost. He is also active in Venray for AZC No.
secret agenda
Tom van den Hoek has always tried utmost to influence through his political activities. Besides campaigning he seeks contact with MPs. In 2005 there are inter-ethnic tensions in Venray. Minister Verdonk will visit the municipality to inform themselves about the situation. Van den Hoek is one of the selected youth to inform her. Later that year Van den Hoek in Venray youth attends a meeting with members of Parliament in the Hague on tensions between immigrant and native youth in Venray. Altogether Tom van den Hoek know enough to crumble in the milk and he continues his extreme political and uncompromising way up to the present day. Here he has become more pragmatic. Sinds 2008 Tom van den Hoek, both active in the Nazi NVU as with the extreme right-wing Outpost. Officially want to make these organizations have nothing in common because of their different worldviews, However, there is an overlap in terms of members. For Post endorses the National Socialist belief Tom van den Hoek not, However, he is welcome as activist. Possibly Van den Hoek will see more opportunities through Outpost, with its moderate profile, achieve political goals.

Begin 2010 adds Willem van Dijk also at Outpost and here he meets again action leader Florens van der Kooi, who was recently a member of the NCE. Together they give committee Venray against AZC form. Here one uses the strategy that Tom van den Hoek since 2008 operates via Outpost. Tap into social tensions that fit into the development of your political worldview. Do not see the back of your tongue. Speak openly about your National Socialist conviction, but indeed use your knowledge and experience you gain in Nazi circles action. For the time being this deception has caused a lot of media attention and some sympathy among the population.
