Provincial elections 2007 for the New Right

New Right joins the States Elections in Overijssel and South Holland. Althans, that was the intention. In Overijssel regulates former Democrat Centre Harry de Olde (1947) the neat affairs, but in England failed half. Of the four constituencies succeed only New Right in Leiden and The Hague just to get the number of thirty signatures support. In the circle Dordrecht signs but four people and remains home to Rotterdam Michiel Smit (1976) with 28 signatures with the heels in the ditch hang. The quarrel within the game around the stepped up Ridderkerkse councilor Martin Dijkhuizen thus has tangible consequences. The Ridderkerkse department has massively dropped so the circle Dordrecht which it falls almost no handtekeningzetters can find more.

This argument was cause by the radical party member John Middleman (1966) The Hague. Especially his anti-Semitic comments about "Jews"The “must realize that it is time for them to adjust or scram course“, Dijkhuizen do realize that he's in the wrong party.

Even the decision of which Middelman “the problem of Jews in the Netherlands is that they have too much influence on society compared with their number“, Michiel Smit motivates not to pop his second Middelman. Smit had simply "no opinion" on. Martin Dijkhuizen does and he gets so on.
John Middelman is by no newcomer to the extreme right. In 1997 He is member of the party magazine of Dutch Block Wim Vreeswijk. He also works than for the Amersfoort municipal councilors of the party. In 1998 he is a candidate for Dutch Block on a, moreover rejected, list in Leeuwarden. In its own words Middelman also been referred to as a member of the fascist New National Party (NNP) and is a member of Outpost Flanders. Middelman is now the circle coordinator for the New Right in his hometown The Hague and thus ensures successful participation for the election in his district.

In Overijssel, the young Robin Tolsma (1978) the state and party leader Michiel Smit Down. Tolsma is originally from the Young Fortuynisten off and was a member of the LPF. From spring 2005 he's with the New Right. In January 2006 Tolsma sends a response to the far-right website of the Platform Warrior. There they sell a book by Norman Finkelstein on the “Holocaust-industrie” which Jews are blamed for making a profit out of this dark period. Tolsma wants “interesting” Book or buy the Platform Warrior. The contacts between the New Right and the Platform Warrior are not strangers, want in september 2005 Michiel Smit has already enjoyed a chat on their website. New Right-Secretary Rene van Gool talks in December 2005 a Platform meeting to. In de zomer van 2006 organizations together tutoring to even give their supporters at a summer school in France.

Among the steunhandtekeningzetters for the New Right also run some colorful characters around. Comes as Pieter Notenboom (1959) Pijnacker from the CD corner. In 1998 He also put a signature as he does now for the New Right, but for the Centre Democrats. H.W.T. (Tom) Renirie (1975) Rotterdam was mistaken in 2004 when sending an e-mail. Anti-fascists had the website www.nationalealliantie.nl Hijacked, for the nose away from the fascist National Alliance party. Renirie send an email to the relevant email address on behalf of the New National Party, he says to his action leader. He proposes a partnership between the two parties, to conduct a demonstration against the AFA. Strikingly Renirie sent mails from his work email address at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. Of course, he never received an answer to his request, and now appears so with the New Right on. Truly remarkable is the signature Ben van der Kooi (1974) for the New Right. After months in prison on suspicion of arson in a Rotterdam mosque Ben Banner, as Van der Kooi loves to call himself, in October 2006 fortunate to be acquitted. This, to the amazement of many who have closely followed the matter and saw evidence on the guilt of these orphans Islam hater. The judge sees it differently and after his release tackles Ben van der Kooi soon his old life on. Als KaKaKa (referring to the Ku Klux Klan) he pulls on the Stormfront Forum weather of leather against the left and especially against Muslims. He calls on it to support “in any form whatsoever” for arrested neo-Nazis from the Belgian Soil Blood and Honor Wedding Network. Van der Kooi says a meeting of his party, the National Alliance, , and commemorates his loyal group Friends of the murdered Pim Theo van Gogh in Amsterdam.

Meanwhile faring New Right at party level is not really good. They have rent arrears for the party office and the landlord spans a procedure to get the amount due. The Internet service of the party website should do its utmost to be paid for its services.
The only incumbent councilor is resigned and Michiel Smit himself became unemployed after the municipal elections of March last year. Meanwhile he makes frantic attempts to find a home in Lansingerland. Daar is Smit in november 2006, by-elections, For the New Right elected. He lives but not quite there and has to move or, or arrange an administrative registration address, so it seems that he has moved. Yet this story is not around and he will have to earn his living honestly. The chance that he may soon be in the Staten province, which is pretty small.
