Nederlands Blok

The Center Democrats revolved entirely around the person Hans Janmaat. Other party members with ambitions or differing views were unwanted and could leave the party. Some former CDers and former Center Party members bet 1992 an alternative to, where were inspired by the Vlaams Blok. That party achieved surprisingly great electoral successes in Belgium during that period and appealed to the imagination. The group therefore decided to establish the Dutch Block. Almost immediately there were, led by the Vlaams Blok, made attempts to bring the fragmented right-wing extremist parties back together in the Netherlands. That initiative failed because of Hans Janmaat. The Dutch Block continued independently. However, the party soon developed into the political vehicle of one man, Wim Vreeswijk from Utrecht. the game differed in content from the CD and only knew in Utrecht, the residence of Vreeswijk to achieve any success. Vreeswijk was there on behalf of the Dutch Block for two council periods in the city council. In 2000 Vreeswijk loses his seat in elections. The party disappears a short time later.
