The Dutch war criminal Siert Bruins is deceased at the age of 94. De oud-SS’er, who lived in Germany, at the end 2013 prosecuted for the murder of a resistance fighter Aldert Klaas Dijkema from Oosterwijtwerd.
The German court in Hagen continued in January 2014 for lack of evidence a line through the indictment. Bruins passed on 28 september. The funeral took place in private.
The 92-year-old Siert Bruins may not be the last Dutch Nazi criminal. The Simon Wiesenthal Center has new information about a living Dutchman who allegedly committed war crimes during World War II. That says director Efraim Zuroff in an interview with newspaper Trouw.

In Hagen in Germany today launched the trial Siert Bruins, of “hangman Appingedam"For the murder of Klaas Dijkema Aldert resistance fighter in World War II. Bruins was then running for SS in the SD. The first session lasts half an hour. The case will be continued later this month.
CIDI recorded in 2010 124 antisemitic incidents, a substantial decline (25,7%) with respect to the 2009, when the Israeli Operation Cast Lead caused a spike. However, it is still significantly higher than in the quieter year 2008, with 'only' 108 incidents.
The lack of a long crisis in Israel 2010 has played a role in this decline. Noteworthy, however, is that the number of anti-Semitic incidents in the Netherlands decreased less than in other Western European countries. Only in Britain was the number of incidents as higher in the Netherlands than in 2008.
