councilor Toon van Dijk of the PVV in Almere asks questions about the police deporting a pastor of a Christian denomination Almere recently addressed the issue of distributing the booklet “Allah had no son“. De PVV considers the visit by the police to be contrary to freedom of expression. The pastor himself contacted the PVV after the incident. The police had received signals from the neighborhood that the booklet would be distributed door to door and was perceived as insulting. Muslims allegedly complained about the booklet and the police warned the pastor that angry Muslims could throw a stone through the windows of the church. In a later answer, the Board regrets&W of Almere that the pastor has been given the impression that his freedom of expression was restricted by the police.
