The court in Den Bosch makes ruling on banning an Islamic conference in Eindhoven in december 2015 by the mayor because there ‘hate preachers‘ would speak. The judge today states that this prohibition was illegal. The mayor had banned the meeting at the time because the preachers had previously expressed negative or hatred about women, Joden, gays and unbelievers. They are also said to have glorified the violent jihadi struggle. The judge states that the mosque is not a public place, so that public order could not have been disturbed. The municipality Eindhoven has inadmissibly infringed the fundamental right to a meeting and demonstration.
