The district judge in Leeuwarden pronounces on a horticultural wholesale from Drachten die in november 2015 a gay man rejected as an intern for his openly gay relationship. The Board for the Protection of Human Rights adopted on 16 februari though the company was guilty of discrimination. The trainee is assigned a compensation and the owner of the company to pay a fine. After this, the municipality Smallingerland indicates that they long business with the company will do a year. The city bought in recent years tens of thousands of euros a year in business.
