Op 14 en 15 August lays a controversial Israeli-American rabbi a two-day visit Amstelveen. He lives on Friday and Saturday evening meals and Saturday at the synagogue service. The man is as “hate rabbi” tagged and from Jewish angle comes in protest against his visit. The rabbi spoke out against gay people in the past and he says remarkable things about women who were gassed in the Holocaust. He makes sweeping statements about people getting cancer because they are not religious life. Hij is in Amstelveen invited by known members of the Jewish community Amsterdam. Two hundred people were gathered for the weekend.
