The court in Lelystad acquits a man from Noordwijk in a criminal case because of his threatening language on a closed internet group that “Power to the PVV" hot. Op 5 april 2016 he wrote about an Islamic foundation there Almere: "Let's kill them, great opportunity and it will rot by itself”. The judge sees no evidence of a threat, but also not for inciting hatred or discrimination or incitement. The internet group is accessible and large enough to be seen as public, but because the intent would be lacking in the man for sedition, he would have responded on a whim just out of frustration, the judge sees insufficient evidence for a conviction.
