The former PVV-MP Wim Kortenoeven is a speaker at a national meeting in Arnhem of an ecclesiastical foundation that focuses on Israel. The theme is “Between facts and fables. Israel in the media” and there are about eighty participants. Wim Kortenoeven says Islam is the main negative factor in the Israeli peace process. He argues: “Islam is holding back peace in Israel“. According to him, this is a religious conflict, no struggle for a country. He cites Iran as alleged evidence, that does not border on Israel, but still wants to destroy the Jewish state.
