The action group Identitair Verzet occurs in several places along the national Remembrance Day. However, they abuse the memorial to advocate "Never fratricidal war”, instead of the victims of the Nazi's to commemorate. according to Identitair Verzet should ethnically related peoples, as the residents of Nordic countries, never get caught up in a mutual war. The group states that in Leiden “dozens of activists” also participate. They lay a wreath at the official commemoration. The department Bulb (region Hillegom-Noordwijk) says she has participated.
