A newspaper writes about a man with a Moroccan background from Helmond. That was not invited to an interview at a company from Utrecht after he applied under the fictional name “Matthijs Weaver”. A virtually identical letter under his own name was unsuccessful. He has the impression that he was dismissed because of his Moroccan background. The company denies discrimination and says they are a diverse company with one in seven workers are immigrants and half woman.
