This Tuesday evening a petition will be presented to the city council of Eijsden-Margraten. Eleven hundred inhabitants of the villages of Rijckholt and Gronsveld have signed the petition against the establishment of a large-scale asylum seekers center in Rijckholt. A spokesman says they are not against the reception of refugees in the village, but that the number of 450 asylum seekers for the village with 650 inhabitants is too high.

Identitair Verzet Department Limburg writes that she plans to "450 mainly to accommodate economic migrants in a monastery in Rijckholt (at Gronsveld), town Eijsden-Margratenrejects ". The action group announced: “Today and the next time we will continue to protest against this unholy plan. Met flyers, posters and banners, the new activists and supporters will remain active in the shadow of Maastricht“. There is a picture of a banner with the text “450 is too much #kominverzet“.

Residents of village Rijckholt (at Gronsveld) protest Thursday in the town of Eijsden-Margraten (in Margraten) against the possible arrival of 450 refugees to their parish. There are plans to absorb refugees in a former nunnery.

At a flea market in Bemelen sell some exhibitors Nazi attributes. It involves helmets, daggers and food cans with swastikas. The municipality Eijsden-Margraten going afterwards to try to figure out what the exhibitors went.
