A left-wing action group is planning to take action during the Remembrance Day in Amsterdam commemorate refugees who have died. They are criticized for this from, among others, Jewish organizations, who think that the Remembrance Day has thus been diluted into a general commemoration with something for everyone. Henk Bakker junior van Leefbaar Amsterdam wants to organize a counter-demonstration because he also thinks that 4 May is not the right time to commemorate refugees. Because of the fuss, the left-wing action group cancels their commemoration and cancels after this Leefbaar Amsterdam their demonstration plan.
De Partij van de Arbeid (PvdA) presents a national action plan to combat woonoverlast by Polish workers. A controversial part of this plan is to limit the number of Poland that maximum may live in a house. De PvdA wants to slum landlords and prevent exploitation. this accused Henk Bakker junior van Leefbaar Amsterdam of PvdA racism. The Discrimination Hotline Amsterdam is wat milder. Which states that the plan is a good intention, but thinks they can correct things on points.
