A radical right wing populist premier?

In large parts of Europe are radical right wing populist parties on the rise. They dominate the polls and knew also cashing in a number of cases in recent elections. The Danish People's Party and UKIP, for example, their supporters to enlarge 2015 substantially with 8,8 en 9,2 percentage points respectively (see Table 1).

Also the 49,9 percent of votes the candidate of the Austrian People's Party did is to achieve in the recent presidential elections, as the result of the referendum on the Brexit, a signal that radical right populist parties gain popularity. There is even a chance that the Norbert Hofer in October yet the presidential election, which because of irregularities on need, wins and thus becomes the first radical right populist president of post-war Europe.

To the promising land

One after another prominent radical-right politician will visit Israel and the occupied territories and expresses support for the struggle for survival of the small country. Especially right-wing Israeli politicians welcome the new allies with open arms.

It aims to provide an overview of recent developments in far-right extremism across Europe, highlight case studies of projects seeking to combat this threat, and offer practical lessons learned for policy makers and frontline workers.
