Incidents at mosques: risk and protection

This research report focuses on risk and protection related to discriminatory incidents at mosques. From the book "Islamophobia and Discriminatie'1 already revealed that the broader picture of growing Islamophobia in the Netherlands merged with the incidence of violence and incidents at mosques. The number of registered cases showed a continuity of periods when it peaked, depending on the circumstances. This was the case after the attacks on the WTC in New York 11 september 2001 and after the murder of van Gogh in November 2004. In 2014 were asked first mosques themselves about their experiences in this gebied.2 Combined with data from other sources we Although this did not complete but a plausible picture of discriminatory aggression and violence against mosques in Netherlands.
