In the evening of the New Year are the mother and daughter of a Jewish-Iraqi family Amsterdam street pelted with firecrackers. The father of the family wearing traditional Jewish clothing and therefore recognizable. After the women go into their house, a doorbell by three youths who first “happy New Year” and then say “free Palestina”. They then try to throw firecrackers through the letterbox, beating on the door and shout “kankerjoden” en “open”. Three young people are heard and be forbidden to come near the family for two months.
