The newspaper writes today about a study by the National Ombudsman to the police in Schilderswijk in Den Haag. The conclusion is that there is no structural racism and that they do not use unnecessary violence. There was a complaint of ex-agents and an action committee that there would be structural discrimination and unnecessary use of force. Yet the Ombudsman does have criticized the police. Younger officers de-escalating approach must be learned and there should be more minority officers. Agents must hold each other more on prejudice among certain populations. The action committee is dissatisfied with the ruling.
