The Board for the Protection of Human Rights states that an Antillean Dutch man is discriminated against when he was in on New Year's Eve 1 January 2014 was refused by a club Leeuwarden. The club had that night to the police stated that they did not let Antilleans, because of an incident with other Antillean men a week earlier. Besides the man who complained were also other people refused with dark skin. In 2015 there follows a criminal matter.
