A ruling by the Human Rights Board about a complaint by a Moroccan-Dutch employee of a petrol station in Meerssen that is owned by a company Rotterdam. The woman filed april 2016 complained about the manager because he often makes racist and discriminatory comments about Moroccans and foreigners. The Moroccan-Dutch woman also feels that she is being treated differently and is not given leave on the days she asks for it. The College states that women have been discriminated against on the grounds of race and religion. The company has also not handled its complaint about this discrimination carefully.
