The Board for the Protection of Human Rights addresses the complaint of a woman in December 2014 no plane ticket could buy for her husband in Gambia, to fly to Amsterdam. For herself she could buy the ticket online at the travel agency in Rijswijk. They experience it as discrimination. According to the Board, there is indirect discrimination on grounds of nationality, but this is justified by legitimate reasons. Due to the legal obligation to carry only passengers with valid travel documents to the Netherlands a local agent in Gambia have the travel documents of passengers that can monitor site. So there is no prohibited discrimination.
