The Administrative Court Groningen has upset the permit the municipality to build a new mosque in Groningen had given. Local residents had begun proceedings. The court states that the municipality had not solidified it would fall well along with the parking problems. The municipality had wrongly granted dispensation for a higher building than is legally. The municipality had objections against dismissed and will appeal against this ruling.
