This Wednesday arises big commotion on social media about a recruitment text from an employment agency for a holiday job as a baggage employee on Schiphol. They use lyrics like “Earn money by lifting luggage Schiphol? Don't you die then? No, is not too bad. You work 3 tot 7 hours in a day. Then chill out“. The text is in slang, but would have a racist undertone. The employment agency removes the text immediately. They use even more slang like shave, batra’s, patta’s en fissa's and readers think it's racist. The employment agency still says that it is not the intention to create the impression that they are mainly looking for Moroccan, Surinamese or Antillean Dutch with a poor command of the Dutch language.
