The Equal Treatment Commission deals with complaints of indigenous job seeker at a public broadcaster in Hilversum. The Dutch jobseekers had disturbed a sense of a job advertisement stating that mainly people with a non-western cultural background were invited to apply. The native Dutchman felt discriminated against and therefore decided not to apply. The Commission contends that no distinction is made on grounds of race, because the origin of the candidates further was not a selection criterion.
