A statement by the ICTY in Den Haag in criminal proceedings against Radovan Karadzic, the political leader of the Bosnian Serbs in the nineties. He is on trial on charges of war crimes and genocide against Bosnian Muslims and Croats. He is found guilty and given forty years in prison. Karadzic is considered the main organizer of the civil war seen, which more than 100.000 people killed. Certainly 8000 Muslim men and boys were killed by Serb forces. Karadzic's appeal.
