The Netherlands Institute for Human Rights rules on a complaint by a Turkish-Dutch man against a company Den Haag. It is about giving an order for the construction of an office building. In oktober 2015 the Turkish man has a telephone conversation with a construction inspector. He indicates that he will not call back until much later because he was afraid that the Turkish man would speak poor Dutch. After that, the company also doubled its rate, because it concerns two buildings. The Turkish man filed a discrimination complaint with the company, but never received an answer. The Board now states that the company has made illegal discrimination on the grounds of race by not handling the complaint about discrimination.
