A ruling by the Netherlands Institute for Human Rights about a complaint by a Turkish-Dutch mother whose son was confronted with discrimination at various times at a primary school in Giethoorn. Thus the Turkish-Dutch learner became in februari 2015 in the schoolyard: “go back to your own country” en in februari 2016 he would have been discriminated against by fellow students. However, the mother did not file her complaint against fellow students. Her complaint is aimed at the principal of the school because he had addressed her about behavioral problems in the boy.
