In Almelo be a father and son of a native family sentenced to prison. They in June 2012 their Turkish neighbor so abused that it later dies. The father receives as a main culprit one year imprisonment. The son is not guilty of the death of the neighbor and get four weeks' imprisonment for assault. Half of these penalties is conditional. The mother of the family and the son of Turkish neighbor acquitted. It is denied that racism could be in play. The Almelo neighbors lived for some time in tension with one another.
