A bank Arnhem in November 2011 wrongly denied a mortgage on a Dutch man. He got the mortgage not because his Russian wife has no Dutch citizen service number. The Board for the Protection of Human Rights today ruled that the bank has made unlawful discrimination on grounds of nationality.
