The Board for the Protection of Human Rights shall decide on complaints against a pizzeria Den Haag. On an unknown date was an Indian woman as a guest and they felt hostility by the hostess of the restaurant. They felt discriminatory treated. There was for instance said: “you must be a comfort girl”. An anti-discrimination bureau then called in April 2015 the restaurant on the complaint. The owner responded then by saying: “I am not a racist, but as foreigners feel discriminated in my country, but then they come along, I buy a ticket for them and they can fuck off to their own country” en “Mrs here set foot in the restaurant, she lynched by my staff”. He did not respond when further substance to the complaint. The Board proposes that the woman has filed a complaint at the restaurant and that discriminatory and threatening statements in the phone are not made for the woman. Therefore, there is no question of harassment. The restaurant is acquitted of discriminating against women.
