The Netherlands Institute for Human Rights makes three statements about the municipality's caravan policy Deventer. First of all, the College postpones a housing foundation Deventer does not make any prohibited discrimination based on race, by no longer offering vacant pitches for caravans for rent. Two people have lodged a complaint because they are not given a place. According to the MEB, there is no phasing out policy here, because the housing association does rent out new pitches. In the two other rulings, the Board determines that the municipal council of Deventer does make a prohibited distinction on the basis of race by pursuing a policy whereby the caravan sites are phased out and people on the waiting list no longer have a turn.
