The Supreme Court rules on an appeal in cassation from the Public Prosecution Service against the acquittal of the Amsterdam shopkeeper Michiel van Eyck from start februari 2016. It was then stated that his sale of the book ‘My fight‘ van Adolf Hitler is not punishable. The Supreme Court ruled the same today. The book plays an important role in the social debate about anti-Semitism and the fight against it as a historical source of anti-Semitic ideology. The shopkeeper only sold the books for their historical significance. The Supreme Court also states this ‘My fight‘ available in libraries and on the Internet.
