In Groningen a swastika has been placed on the regiment plateau in the Liberation Forest. In this place the liberation of Groningen commemorated in World War II. The regiment plateau lists the names of the Canadian army units, who drove out the Germans. Several memorial plaques have also been stolen in recent days.
