A newspaper reports an incident “last weekAt a museum in Amsterdam. Here a Moroccan Dutchman is queuing up to enter. A special profiler from the museum appeals to him and asks what he is going to do. This staff scans the crowd for suspicious persons and abnormal situations. In line there are only white people. The accused man gets angry and fulminates that he was picked out of the line because he is a Moroccan. He is not allowed to enter the museum after this. He submits a complaint to the Reporting Point against Discrimination and Muslim Hatred. He also reports to the police about discrimination. According to the museum, he was refused because he immediately reacted aggressively and no longer seemed reasonable. He would not have been refused on grounds of nationality. According to the police, he himself had walked to the security guard to ask if he could enter with a VIP card. That caught the attention of that security guard who pulled him out of line. If he refuses, the situation escalates. The Public Prosecution Service therefore decides not to prosecute the security guard for discrimination.
