In Heerlen a 15-year-old Tamil-Dutch student commits suicide after harassment. He was in a school Heerlen and allegedly extorted by fellow students. When he refused to give money, he was discriminated against because of his dark complexion. The boy was also bisexual and was a victim of cyberbullying. He received hate messages wishing him dead. The boy was sometimes called gay or gay at school, when he weaves in a friend's hair. The boy has also said he was transgender.
