The Netherlands Institute for Human Rights is examining a complaint from an Antillean-Dutch woman who entered maart 2016 wanted to buy fruit from a market stall in an unspecified place. She touched the fruit and that was not allowed by the greengrocer who called: “You don't have to come here anymore foreigner, get out of here foreigner, fuck off here“. The MEB finds that the market vendor has discriminated against it by refusing it as a customer and treating it in a discriminatory manner.
