On and around this Saturday there will be public festivities around the Gay Pride in Amsterdam. Eight people have been arrested in eleven cases involving verbal abuse and abuse of gays, lesbian, bisexuals or transgender people. A story comes out of one of the victims who breaks his jaw after being assaulted on the street. He was berated for his homosexuality and robbed of his phone. The attacker out Beverwijk must appear in court later.
