The Institute for Human Rights is investigating a complaint by a German who complains about the offers on a website of the Dutch Railways (the head office is in Utrecht). You can only pay with iDeal on that site, and for that you need a Dutch bank account, that you only get if you live in the Netherlands. The College acknowledges that there is a distinction based on nationality, but the NS has a valid reason for this and that is combating fraud. Payments via iDeal cannot be reversed. There is therefore no prohibited discrimination on grounds of nationality.
