An international sports tribunal rules against a criminal case Feyenoord from Rotterdam because of an incident at a home game on 26 februari 2015. Then an inflatable banana was thrown on the field, which is close to an A.S. Roma player with a dark skin color ended up. Feyenoord had already been punished for this but had appealed. They deny that it is about racism, also because the banana thrower is of Antillean origin. The sports tribunal reduces the sentence to a suspended sanction for playing the next European match without an audience, but leave the fifty thousand euro fine.
