The municipal councilors of the PVV in Den Haag posed written questions about the barbecue in a park. The party argues that “especially large groups of non-western immigrants, which meekrijgen from Islamic culture that throwing away food is not a sign of respect and therefore after use, so do not deposit it in the garbage containers, but leave the field?”. They also complain about cars “these groups” driving on the field. De PVV asks the council still sees the presence of such a large group of non-western immigrants as enriching the city. The party also establishes a link between the end of Ramadan and the increase of garbage in the park.
